Phase 1

Contact

  • Receiving the client's initial request or brief.

  • Scheduling a brief introductory call or exchanging emails to understand the project scope, goals, and client needs.

Project Talk

  • In-depth discussion about the project objectives, target audience, brand personality, desired aesthetic, and any specific requirements (e.g., file formats, deadlines).

  • Gathering all necessary information and assets from the client (e.g., existing logos, brand guidelines, content, images).

Proposal & Contract

  • Creating a detailed proposal outlining the project scope, deliverables (referencing the specific package), timeline, and pricing.

  • Presenting the proposal to the client and addressing any questions or concerns.

  • Finalizing the proposal and having the client sign a contract or agreement.

  • Receiving the agreed-upon initial payment (50% of the total project cost) as per the contract terms.

Phase 2

Research

  • Client's Industry and Competitors
    Analyzing the visual landscape of the client's industry and identifying competitors' branding.

  • Target Audience
    Understanding the demographics, psychographics, and preferences of the intended audience.

  • Design Trends
    Exploring current design trends relevant to the project but ensuring they align with the client's brand.

  • Inspiration Gathering
    Collecting visual inspiration (usually on Pinterest) that aligns with the project goals and client preferences.

Concepts 1.0

  • Logo Design
    Presenting 2-3 (or 3-5 in a higher-tier package) distinct logo options, showcasing different visual directions.

  • Business Card Design
    Presenting 1-2 initial business card design concepts.

  • Social Media Graphics
    Presenting initial concepts for profile and cover photos or social media templates (depending on the package).

  • Brand Style Guide
    Presenting initial ideas for the color palette and typography (if applicable to the package).

Phase 3

Feedback 1.0

  • Presenting the initial design concepts to the client for review and feedback.

  • Actively listening to and gathering the client's thoughts, preferences, and any concerns.

  • Asking clarifying questions to ensure a clear understanding of the feedback.

Feedback 2.0

  • Gathering the client's feedback on the revised concepts.

Revisions 1.0

  • Iterating on the chosen concept(s) based on the client's feedback. This involves making the agreed-upon adjustments and exploring variations.

Revisions 2.0

  • Making the final round of agreed-upon revisions to the chosen design(s).

Concepts 2.0

  • Presenting the revised design concepts to the client.

Phase 4

Final Files

  • Preparing and organizing all the final design files according to the project specifications.

  • Ensuring all files are properly named and delivered in an organized manner (e.g., via Google Drive or WeTransfer).

Final Approved!

Receiving the client's explicit final approval of the design(s). This is just the best part, isn’t it?

Final Payment

  • Issuing the final invoice to the client.

  • Receiving the remaining balance of the project cost.
